Pricing and Plans
We offer flexible monthly subscription plans starting at just $100 AUD per box. The best part? The more boxes you rent, the less they cost!

We process secure and convenient monthly payments through Stripe. No lock-in contracts mean you have the flexibility to terminate your subscription at any time! (Simply let us know before the end of your current billing cycle).
Functionality and Convenience
At KeySpot, managing access codes and key exchanges is designed to be as simple and secure as possible. Upon subscribing to one of our plans, you'll receive a comprehensive email containing your first access code alongside a detailed PDF guide in 2 business days. This guide acts as a personal roadmap, walking you through every step - from locating the parking area to finding the KeySpot itself and confidently retrieving and returning keys. For added clarity, a video guide is also included within the PDF, providing visual support for those who prefer it.
The best part is that you can share this with your guests/personnel! Simply forward the detailed instructions and your access code to them. They can easily collect and return the key using the same code, eliminating the need for multiple codes or physical key handoffs. This convenient solution ensures a smooth access experience for both you and your guests/personnel.
Security is a top priority at KeySpot, which is why your subscription includes automatic code resets at your chosen interval (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). This eliminates the risk of unauthorised access and ensures continued security for your key exchanges. On your chosen schedule, we'll manually update the code and promptly send you the new one via email, keeping you informed and in control.
However, we understand that plans can change. If you find yourself needing a code change outside your scheduled reset, simply send us an email. Our dedicated team will process your request within 24 hours and provide you with the updated code, ensuring you have complete control over your access even in unexpected situations.
Yes! Your key box is accessible anytime, day or night, for authorised users.
Our weather-resistant key boxes boast enhanced security features, including:
- Optional two-factor authentication for key pickups
- Battery backup for uninterrupted operation
- Offline access codes for connectivity backup
- IP52 weather-resistant design
You'll receive email notifications for each key pick-up and drop-off, ensuring you're always in the loop.
Additional Services and Support
KeySpot offers a streamlined approach to key box management. You'll receive all necessary access codes and instructions directly via email, eliminating the need for any additional apps or downloads. This convenient method ensures you always have the information you need at your fingertips.
While we don't currently have a web/mobile App, we're committed to keeping you informed. You'll receive instant email notifications for key exchanges: including when a key is picked up or dropped off. This helps you stay updated on key activity without the need to log in to a separate platform.
For comprehensive account details and activity logs, you can always reach out to our friendly customer support team. We're happy to provide you with any information you need about your KeySpot account and usage history.
Our friendly and knowledgeable team is readily available at our Circle on Cavill location to provide personalised training and support. Additionally, we offer an after-hours emergency line for immediate assistance in case of unforeseen issues.
Account Registration
We'll need some essential information during your payment and account setup:
- First and Last Name
- Preferred Email Address
- Preferred Mobile Number
- Key Names
- Access Code Renewal Schedule (Weekly, fortnightly, or monthly)
Immediately after you subscribe, you'll receive a welcome email confirming your subscription and containing a 2 simple requests to get you started:
- Key Names: Tell us what you'd like to call your keys! Think "Front Door," "Apartment 1," "Beach House," or anything that clearly identifies them. This helps us personalise instructions, labels, and notifications, making everything crystal clear.
- Access Code Renewal Schedule: Choose your preferred rhythm for automatic code resets – weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. This ensures ongoing security and peace of mind, knowing your access is always fresh and updated.
Once we have these details, we'll craft your access kit within 2 business days and send it straight to your inbox so you can start using your KeySpot right away!
The access kit will be like a magic toolbox, unlocking everything you need: unique access codes, detailed instructions covering every step from parking to key exchange, a clear PDF guide to use as your personal roadmap, and even a bonus video guide for visual learners. The best part? Sharing access with guests or personnel is a breeze. Simply forward the instructions and codes – they can follow the same smooth and straightforward path to accessing and returning their keys.

Sharing KeySpot with Guests/Personnel
You will be automatically notified via email when the guest has collected or returned their keys - no need to for expensive ring cams or phone calls interrupting their stay!
You can opt for a weekly, fortnightly or monthly code reset at no extra charge as part of your subscription. We will manually change this for you at the scheduled date, and email your new code through.
If for some reason you would like the code changed ahead of schedule, please email us a request. We will action this within 24 hours and update you with the new code.
In the event that an emergency occurs where either the key box or supplied code is not working, please contact our after hours emergency support line on 07 5559 3019.
We have included a set of detailed instructions for you to forward on to your guests in your access kit. Our PDF instructional guide includes details on where to park while they are collecting keys, how to find KeySpot and how to pick up and return keys.

KeySpot was born out of selfish reasons - to fulfil a gap in the market we desperately needed! As a family owned holiday accommodation company, we got tired of being on call 24/7 for after hours check ins and lock out emergencies. We wanted a convenient way for guests to access keys, and the ability to assist our late arrivals without needing to head back into the office. With KeySpot, we are now notified when our after hours guests have collected keys, and can even reset codes or assist in a lockout emergency from the comfort of our own home.
We are constantly evolving! By staying active in the rental industry, collecting user feedback, and embracing new technology we are constantly working to ensure we anticipate and meet the needs of the accommodation industry.
